JOHANNESBURG - The South African Revenue Services (SARS) is offering an opportunity for taxpayers with undisputed tax debts older than 12 months, to settle for less than the full amount.
This initiative aims to expedite the recovery of long-standing debts, and assist taxpayers facing financial difficulties.

The process is being managed in collaboration with recognised controlling bodies, such as the South African Institute of Chartered Accountants, the South African Institute of Professional Accountants, and the Chartered Institute for Business Accountants.
Applications are open from 13 October and close on 31 December 2025.
