SARS releases preliminary revenue outcome
JOHANNESBURG - The South African Revenue Service says it collected a new record of R2.155-trillion in taxes for the year that ended in March.
That’s R52-billion more than the previous year, and R10-billion more than the estimate before February’s budget.
SARS has been clamping down on tax dodgers and fraudsters.
SARS Commissioner, Edward Kieswetter discussed this with eNCA.
