JOHANNESBURG - SARS has announced the official start of the 2025 tax filing season, from the 7th of July to the 20th of October.
Most taxpayers will be auto-assessed, with notifications sent out until the 20th of July.
Those not auto-assessed should file their returns from 21 July.
SARS is urging taxpayers to be prepared by ensuring details, especially banking information, are up to date.
