JOHANNESBURG - The time for consultation is over and urgent action is needed if government is serious about tackling rolling blackouts.
This is according to the Black Business Council, which says businesses -- especially smaller ones -- do not have the time to wait for continuous consultations.

President Cyril Ramaphosa announced various interventions, including the appointment of an electricity minister to tackle the crisis.
"When you are in a crisis you can't consult continuously; there must be a time when you take a decision," said BBC CEO Kganki Matabane.
"And that's why we are saying let's be decisive we can't be consulting for six months."
