Security update disrupts 8.5m computers globally

JOHANNESBURG - After a faulty software update by CrowdStrike disrupted computers and technical systems globally, some services are now restored.

However, recovery remains sluggish for many companies, still encountering delays and technical issues.

Microsoft reports that approximately 8.5 million computers worldwide were affected by the IT outage.
