Slow internet connectivity to last months

JOHANNESBURG - If you are struggling with connectivity or slow buffering on your streaming service, you are not alone.

Internet users in South Africa are still experiencing slow network on their broadband connections.

A rock fall in the Congo Canyon damaged an undersea fibre cable.

The repair could take months.

Tech expert Toby Shapshak said getting to the fibre is a big problem.

"There are a whole bunch of things to be done," he said.
