JOHANNESBURG - The Tourism Business Council of South Africa has criticised the decision to dissolve the board of SA Tourism.
Industry stakeholders argue the board had the right expertise and leadership to stabilise SA Tourism, and restore credibility in the sector.
While the Tourism Minister, Patricia de Lille has cited governance challenges as justification, the Tourism Business Council warns the move could undermine long-term goals.
The Council’s CEO, Tshifhiwa Tshivhengwa discussed this with eNCA.
