Transnet | Ngqura terminal up for grabs

JOHANNESBURG - Transnet is looking for a private partner to design, fund, build and run a terminal at the Port of Ngqura in the Eastern Cape.

The liquid bulk terminal will operate under a 25-year concession.

It will support the relocation of tank farm operations from the port in Gqeberha.

The project is part of Transnet’s broader Reinvent for Growth Strategy, aimed at repositioning the state-owned enterprise.

The new terminal will include liquid bulk storage tanks, road tanker loading gantries and pipelines.
