JOHANNESBURG - Transnet and trade unions will meet at the CCMA on Monday, over the ongoing wage strike.

Producers in the berry industry say each day ports don't operate, puts 30,000 jobs at risk.

And the Durban Chamber of Commerce and Industry has warned a full-blown ports strike could cost the economy almost R1bn a day.

Transnet has declared a force majeure across its ports after workers embarked on a strike earlier this week.
