UK plans to ban under 16s from buying energy drinks

JOHANNESBURG - The UK government is planning to ban under-16s from buying highly caffeinated energy drinks.

The ban will not only help tackle the country's obesity crisis, because these drinks are usually high in sugar, but also reduce their harmful effects on children.
