JOHANNESBURG - The car recalls keep coming - raising concerns about the safety of vehicles in South Africa.
The latest recall involves Land Rover Defender and Jaguar I-Pace Vehicles.
Land Rover says certain 2026 Defender vehicles sold between November last year and February this year may have a seat belt in the third row that could fail in a crash.
Jaguar is also recalling some 2019 to 2021 year model I-Pace vehicles.
Car safety is becoming a major concern in South Africa and recalls are driving the issue home.
The National Consumer Commission says it's trying to get to the root cause of the problem.
