WATCH | Stage 6 power cuts hit SA

JOHANNESBURG - Eskom has implemented Stage 6 power cuts following the tripping of generation units at Kusile and Kriel power stations.

At this stage, it's not yet clear when this Stage 6 rolling blackout will end.

Meanwhile, Eskom blackouts are costing the economy R10bn a day, that's according to energy expert, David Lipschitz.

He says the power utility is actually cutting power 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
