JOHANNESBURG - Black Friday is almost upon us, and many South Africans are waiting in anticipation.
It has been a tough year for most with the skyrocketing cost of living caused by higher fuel prices and inflation.
Consumer debt expert Moeshfika Botha says consumers need to do research on the actual prices of items beforehand.
"We need to differentiate between what is really a special on Black Friday and what isn't. We have to start identifying and doing some research on what the prices of things are that we have on our wishlist and then act accordingly," she said.
