Cat Matlala finally appeared before the Ad Hoc committee, from Kgosi Mampuru Prison, where he is currently being held during his trial on charges of attempting to have his ex-girlfriend assassinated, and financial crimes. During a bombshell first day, he said that former police minister lied under oath and extorted Matlala for money, and that Brown Mogotsi did the same thing, in the name of current police minister Senzo Mchunu, who is currently suspended.
