Deputy President Paul Mashatile recently publicly disclosed an expensive mansion in Constantia, Cape Town. This on top of other significant assets, including another mansion in Gauteng. These significant disclosures have raised eyebrows across politics and media, particularly considering the fact that Mashatile is widely seen as a front runner in the race to succeed President Cyril Ramaphosa.
