R2 Billion Stolen From Hospital, ANC Implicated In Huge Criminal Networks

The 29th of September was a massive day in efforts to fight corruption in South Africa. The Special Investigations Unit announced their interim report of their investigation in to the Tembisa Hospital corruption, reportedly to the tune of R2bn. This money was extracted from a number of criminal networks, allegedly involving people like Brown Mogotsi, Cat Matlala and Hangwani Maumela.

At the same time Dumisani Khumalo was testing at the Madlanga Commission, providing evidence to corroborate the claims of Fanie Masemola and Gen. Mkhwanazi. These two events point to a damning alleged criminal network that has corrupted the ANC and the South African justice system.
