Music industry mourns maskandi artist

JOHANNESBURG - Music lovers continue to mourn the passing of celebrated Maskandi artist Scebi 'Inkosi Yama Gcokama' Dlamini.

Dlamini died in a car in Richards Bay on Sunday morning.

He and his backing singer, Gumu Gupta Langa, both lost their lives while travelling to an event.

Fellow artists and the AmaZulu king, MisuZulu kaZwelithini, have donated money and cows to his family, in preparation for the funeral.

The musician has over the years been nominated for several awards, winning the Best Maskandi Artist and the way he dominated the stage, also won him several hearts.
