WATCH | Word of The Year 2023 revealed

JOHANNESBURG - The Pan South African Language Board announced the 2023 Word of the Year for mainstream and social media.

This is a word or expression reflecting the ethos, mood, or preoccupations of the past 12 months.

Some of the shortlisted words include Danko, Ivale Mfana, Kuningi, Bathong and Ten Past four.

PanSALB Spokesperson Ntombentle Huluhulu annonced the the 2023 Word of the Year in studio.
