NEW YORK - South Africa's own Tyla has claimed the 'Best Afrobeats' award at the 2025 MTV Video Music Awards.
Wearing a retro Chanel dress from the 90s, Tyla strutted the red carpet at the UBS Arena in New York.
This is her second Moonman in the Afrobeats category.
'Push 2 Start' got the nod this year following her historic win for 'Water' in 2024.
Tyla beat out the likes of Tems, Burna Boy, Rema, and Wizkid.
