JOHANNESBURG - Only 16% of South African youth are optimistic about the future and a whopping 74% say our country is going in the wrong direction.
In addition, 71% think the economy has taken a wrong turn.
This group of youngsters participated in the African Youth Survey 2024, conducted across 16 countries.
