WATCH | Home Affairs Dept clears ID backlog of almost 250,000
CAPE TOWN - The Department of Home Affairs says its identity document system is up to date after clearing a backlog of nearly 250,000.
The backlog, dating back to last year, was caused by a change in IT service providers.
