WATCH | Turning wastewater into drinking water

JOHANNESBURG - Cape Town is banking on recycled wastewater to end water shortages.

Delegates to the International Water Reuse Conference in Cape Town had a tour of two water treatment facilities that are a part of the New Water Scheme.

Construction at the Faure Water Treatment Plant and Reservoir is expected to boost the city's total bulk potable water supply.
