16 Days of Activism | Dr Mtshali talks grooming young boys to be better men

JOHANNESBURG - For the past 25 years, the country has marked its annual 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children campaign. But despite the best efforts of government and all sectors of society, there's been no noticeable decline in gender-based violence.

Speaking to the eNCA Dr Ntombifikile Mtshali from Shout-It-Now says the focus should be directed to men who are in most cases perpetrators of gender-based violence. She says this should be done at their early stage in life, while their still boys. She believes that it is much easier to instill good behaviour in a person while they're still young.
