Love in Loss

English poem by: Danya Flowers

Theme: Love

In the silent corners of rooms, and in the loud clatter of life,

your absence is a hush, yet your love, a resonating echo.

We pass it around, like a communal locket,

each of us a keeper of a piece, a shard of your boundless heart.

As the clocks tick, each second less hollow than before,

your love transforms absence into presence, silence into song.

We share it, multiplying its weight, its meaning,

an everlasting bloom in the garden of remembrance.

For in every beat, every tick, every spoken word,

your love remains, a gift repackaged and given anew,

preserving your memory, immortal in the mundane,

our lighthouse in the fog, leading us safely to each other.

Planning for the future may not always be comfortable, but having a funeral policy is one of the most responsible financial decisions a person can make. The benefits of being covered far outweigh the consequences of being unprepared.
