Breaking the heart of apartheid | Untold stories of MK's Special Ops Unit

JOHANNESBURG - It took a lot more than negotiations to end apartheid.

And one of the things that broke the back of the then racialised regime, was the targeted attacks on that government's strategic economic and military infrastructure.

ANC and SACP stalwart, Yunus Carrim, has finally put it all in writing.

He has recorded the stories of 48 special ops cadres, of the then uMkhonto weSizwe military wing of the ANC.

Anchor Dan Moyane sat down with Carrim, to chat about his recently published book.

It is titled Attacking the Heart of Apartheid: The ANC's MK Special Operations Unit.

Full interview to air this Saturday on eNCA channel DStv403.
