Cape Town set to premiere project on missing sailors

CAPE TOWN - A new music and interactive project is shedding light on the disappearance of three South African sailors in the Indian Ocean a decade ago.

Dr. Natalie Dixon from Affect Lab founder and director  said," We do not have evidence of somebody passing but we mostly sure that they are gone, they have died. This kind of story and social implications that it has, really inspires us to make this work."

Requiem for the Impossible is based on the true story of skipper Anthony Murray, first mate Reginald Robertson and young deckhand Jaryd Payne, who left Cape Town’s V&A Waterfront Marina in December 2014 to deliver a yacht to Phuket.

The project will have its world premiere in Cape Town this week.
