JOHANNESBURG - The South African Post Office said it is now rolling out the electronic delivery of AARTO infringement notices as the second phase of the system begins.
This follows the national implementation of the new traffic law from 1 July.
Motorists can now receive legally recognised notices through WhatsApp, SMS or email.
The system is aimed at improving how traffic offences are communicated and processed across municipalities.
The new electronic service is expected to speed up delivery and make it easier for drivers to receive and respond to notices.
