The 54-story building in Berea next to Hillbrow was marred by horror stories in the 1990s.

However, its image has been turned around and has become a sought-after residential space.
It's even been used in movies like Resident Evil, Chappie and District 9.
Since the announcement of the sale the building has caught the eyes of a number of investors.
