JOHANNESBURG - South Africa is ranked among the top ten countries with the highest number of suicides. That's according to the South African Society of Psychiatrists.

Most of these suicides occur among men.

Nicolene Trom from the Umntu Ngumntu Ngabantu Foundation told eNCA on Wednesday that men are unable to speak out about things that anger them and as such, the root of violence and anger must be nipped in the bud.

"Let us nip it in the bud and look into the root and sometimes the root cause can be us women, she said.
