GERMISTON - The sky is the limit for young people.
That's the message from the Rand Airshow in Germiston, returning after a three-year break.
Rand Airport Management Company’s Lyn Jones said exhibit organisers hope to encourage school leavers to consider aviation as a career.
"There are a multitude of careers in aviation. I tell you, this industry is the most exciting industry to work in, not just pilot training. So, we encourage any youngsters to join this industry.
“There's a wealth of industry to join and a wealth of knowledge that we are desperately seeking. So school leavers must, you know, get that avgas in their DNA and come and join us here at Rand Airports."
