JOHANNESBURG - SADAG has launched a mental health support group, specifically targeting young adults between the ages of 18 and 35.
With mental health still being a taboo subject for many within our society, the organisers is hoping this group will allow more young people the space to explore their trauma and ultimately achieve healing.
But that healing begins through honesty in a shared space.

SADAG project manager, Krystle Kemp says its all about being mindful that different age groups and generations they experience things differently.
"Between the ages of 18 to 35 there is a lot of transition, change and adaption. Even when that change is positive or exciting it can bring with it a lot of stress, anxiety, worry and big emotions."
She says having a support group that deals with this age band can be helpful in providing a space where individuals meet and they are able to relate to what the other is going through.
