JOHANNESBURG - International speaker, human rights activist and author, Zulaikha Patel, is back home after being named Media Influencer of the Year at the BRICS and SCO Young Leaders Awards.

Patel's contributions to advocacy, education and empowerment earned her the accolade at the ceremony held in Kazan in Russia.
The young activist had a sit-down with eNCA's Abigail Visagie and spoke on her work behind this accolade.
