LAS VEGAS - South African music sensation Tyla has scooped two awards at the 52nd American Music Awards.
The event took place at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas.
The multi-award-winning singer and songwriter won two of the four categories in which her hit song Chanel was nominated. She took home the awards for Social Song of the Year and Favourite Afrobeats Artist.

In addition to her major wins, Tyla was also nominated for Best Female R&B Artist and Best Music Video.
The Grammy Award-winning musician is also up for two nominations at the 2026 BET Awards, next month.
Tyla has continued to dominate the international music scene since the global success of her 2024 hit, Water.
