JOHANNESBURG - The University of Johannesburg is researching a form of artificial intelligence aimed at understanding and processing South Africa's diverse dialects.
The university is at the forefront of developing AI models tailored to understand and process our many languages.
Speaking on the importance of AI to recognise and process being able to Institute for Intelligent Systems at the University of Johannesburg, Professor Mpho Primus said this is a way of speaking to citizens of the country in a way they can understand.
