CAPE TOWN - Around 200 participants have tackled the gruelling Platterklip Gorge to summit route and back in the 16th annual Table Mountain Cableway Charity Challenge.
The event's focus on supporting Cape Town's NGOs proved highly successful, with over R1.2 million raised, exceeding the fundraising goal.
Addition, in a fitting nod to the Cableway's history and commitment to sustainability, participants received unique medals fashioned from recycled cableway cables.
