Women's Month | Climate advocate, Ntobeko Mafu pens letter to younger self

DURBAN - Women have time and time again proven their strength, resilience and ability to rise from the ashes.

For 24-year-old Ntobeko Mafu, it's no different. From gender-based violence at home while a child, to becoming a teen mother and her father's caregiver, Mafu's upbringing was far from easy.

Her father died on her son's first birthday, leaving her to head the household. But hardship hasn't defined Mafu's life.

She's now an award-winning international sustainability advocate, author, and founder of Madame Clucks Alot, a climate-smart agri-hub based in Nhlazatshe, KwaZulu-Natal.

This women's month, Mafu wrote a letter to her younger self.
