JOHANNESBURG - Major routes in Johannesburg will be affected ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations qualifier match between Bafana Bafana and Guinea.
The game set for Saturday is expected to take place in Orlando, Soweto, with the Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD) anticipating road closures to begin at 10 am.
JMPD spokesperson Xolani Fihla has urged spectators to plan their routes to minimise delays.
These routes will be affected:
- N17
- Soweto Highway
- Klipspruit Valley Road
- Martha Louw Street
- Mooki Street
- Sofasonke Street
- Kumalo Main Road
Alternative routes to take:
Use Ballenden and Masopha Streets as alternatives to Mooki Street or utilise the broader Soweto Highway network where closures are not in effect.
