RIP Dingaan Thobela | Multiple boxing world champion to be buried on Thursday

SOWETO - Multiple boxing world champion Dingaan Thobela is to be laid to rest on Thursday.  

The Rose of Soweto, as he was affectionately known, was found dead in his apartment in Mayfair, Johannesburg, last Monday.

The 57-year-old had a stellar career, competing from 1990 to 2006 and winning three world titles in two weight divisions.

His funeral service will be held at the Dlamini Multipurpose Hall in Soweto this morning.
