BOKSBURG - The Ekurhuleni Metro council is sitting on Thursday.
At the centre of discussions is the court case in the Boksburg magistrate’s court involving its officials.
Suspended EMPD Deputy Chief Julius Mkhwanazi and City Manager Kagiso Lerutla are out on R30,000 bail each.
They both face allegations of fraud, corruption and defeating the ends of justice stemming from the Madlanga Commission testimony.
The Inquiry has raised questions about accountability in the metro.
