JOHANNESBURG - The number of people injured in the deadly late-night shooting at Jumpers Informal Settlement in Cleveland, Johannesburg, has risen to 15.
Twelve people were killed on Tuesday night when unknown gunmen opened fire at the informal settlement. No arrests have been made, but police say they are pursuing strong leads.
Gauteng Police Commissioner, Tommy Mthombeni, confirmed that 15 people had been admitted to hospital following the attack.

"As we processed the crime scene and also visited the hospital, we ended up with a number of 15 people injured," Mthombeni said.
He said investigators were working around the clock to track down those responsible.
"We have leads, and we are hopeful that we will have a breakthrough soon," he said.
Mthombeni added that police had obtained statements from some of the survivors and were reviewing CCTV footage as part of efforts to identify the alleged perpetrators.
Meanwhile, Joburg Human Settlements MMC Mlungisi Mabaso said the metro was working with police to tackle crime in Cleveland.
Mabaso said plans are in place to install CCTV cameras to improve monitoring and security.
