KNYSNA - With the local government elections approaching, Knysna residents are hoping a new council will bring greater stability and improve service delivery.
The Southern Cape town has faced political instability, governance challenges, service delivery problems and allegations of corruption linked to a municipal security contract.
Communities say they are tired of unfulfilled promises and are calling for improvements to basic services, including housing, water and sanitation.
With the November 4 polls fast approaching, can Knysna’s next council restore confidence in local government and deliver the changes residents have been waiting for?
