JOHANNESBURG - Self-proclaimed King of Mabahambe and Patriotic Alliance leader Gayton McKenzie has vowed to rid Prince Albert of illegal foreign nationals.
This follows the party’s strong showing in the town, where it secured five of the 10 council seats.
McKenzie says Prince Albert, in the Western Cape, will become the first town to be free of illegal migrants.
"But watch what's going to happen now in Prince Albert. Illegal foreigners must start packing in Prince Albert. That will become the first town that's ili- migrant, illegal migrant-free," he said.
"We are now in charge there. There will not be illegal foreigners the next time you interview me. We don't play with power."
