Pastor's wife remains in custody as baby murder case postponed

JOHANNESBURG - The case against a pastor’s wife arrested in connection with the killing of a four-month-old baby has been postponed to Monday.

The accused appeared briefly in the Atteridgeville Magistrate’s Court and remains in custody.

Police are still searching for her husband, who is wanted for the alleged rape of the 43-year-old mother and the killing of the infant.

The baby was found buried in a shallow grave in Atteridgeville following an intensive search.
