DURBAN - Nomzila Madinane was viciously murdered at her new pharmacy in KwaNyuswa in KwaZulu-Natal on Tuesday.
Two staff members were killed alongside her.
Now, her family has exclusively told eNCA about her previous brushes with danger, including an attack at her first pharmacy a few months ago.
She had also left an abusive relationship with a doctor she had dated until last year.
Her loved ones say he had threatened to kill her in the past.
