JOHANNESBURG - Dobsonville residents in Soweto are taking their electricity protest to Eskom’s doorstep, demanding immediate power restoration.
They also accuse the utility of installing prepaid smart meters without consultation or consent.
The residents said there was no engagement about the smart meters.
They've also sent a memorandum of demands to Nersa.
Protesters have gathered outside Eskom’s Zola Hub.
