JOHANNESBURG - Five South Africans have been arrested after police uncovered an alleged drug-manufacturing operation at a farm in Krugersdorp.
Police discovered Mandrax and ecstasy tablets worth more than R100-million during the raid. A firearm was also confiscated.
Hawks spokesperson Katlego Mogale says the operation was carried out by the South African Narcotics Enforcement Bureau (SANEB), Crime Intelligence, the Gauteng K9 Unit and other stakeholders.

Mogale says the Hawks have so far uncovered 11 suspected drug laboratories across the country, with more than 30 suspects arrested.
Investigators are now working to establish possible links between the laboratories, including where the chemicals used to manufacture the drugs are coming from.
They are also investigating the ownership of the properties where the suspected drug laboratories were found.
Senior SAPS officers are at the scene in Krugersdorp as investigators continue assessing the operation and gathering evidence.
