BOKSBURG - Learners at Reiger Park Secondary School complain that they have limited access to drinking water at the school.
They also allege that the toilets are not up to standard, with only a few functioning toilets available for both boys and girls.
The school has just over 2,000 pupils, and it is alleged that some learners have resorted to drinking water from fire hydrants.
School Governing Body (SGB) Chairperson Charona Louw disputes this.

"We have been fixing the taps almost every month," she says.
"Things are being broken by the same learners vandalising the taps and toilets," she added.
While pupils say the problems have been ongoing for three months, Louw says this is not the case.
She says this is also why the SGB will be escalating the matter to the Gauteng Education Department’s district office.
Louw told eNCA that the school and learners will meet on Monday afternoon in an effort to find a solution.
