DURBAN - MK Party leader Jacob Zuma says the contest for political power should ultimately be about improving the lives of South Africans.
The party is heading for a strong showing in KwaZulu-Natal.
These are the MK Party’s first local government elections since its formation ahead of the 2024 general elections, when it made significant gains in the province.
Meanwhile, the party has established a task team to lead coalition negotiations with other political parties following the elections.
Among those expected to spearhead the talks are Zuma’s son, Duduzane, Dali Mpofu and Willies Mchunu.
