Zuma's hospitalisation raises questions over MK Party's election campaign

PIETERMARITZBURG - MK Party leader Jacob Zuma’s hospitalisation is raising questions about the party's election campaign plans.

The former president is expected to play a prominent role in its preparations for the manifesto launch in Mbombela.

Party officials say Zuma is undergoing a routine medical check-up and is in good spirits.

However, it remains unclear whether he will attend upcoming campaign events, including a planned gathering in the Mtooba area on 18 October.

Zuma has been a prominent figure at MK Party events, and his participation in campaigns is drawing attention as the local government elections approach.

eNCA reporter Nokwazi Qumbisa has approached MK Party for further clarity on whether Zuma will be able to attend its upcoming engagements.
