DURBAN - KwaZulu-Natal authorities are urging residents to remain cautious as severe weather continues to hit the province.
Strong winds have uprooted trees and led to widespread power outages.

KZN COGTA spokesperson Senzelwe Mzila said the province has started with mop-up operations.
"A number of areas in the province were plunged into darkness, so as we speak, disaster management teams are on the ground and have commenced with mop-up operations."
